Mastodon is an open source and decentralised operating system on the fediverse. It is designed as an alternative to twitter.
- If you would like to join a small locally operated Mastodon server or even engage in helping what that might look like, coming to decisions on the server etc… let me know next week. Currently most major Mastodon servers rent space in data centres. However this one does not and operates locally on second hand hardware.

These are maintained by people, and you can even contribute or look into building your own if you have a niche old android phone.
